For a while now Eugen Systems has been developing a sequel to Wargame: European Escalation. A sequel that brings air combat prominently and significantly into the game while making a myriad of changes to singleplayer, multiplayer and AI. It is called Wargame: Airland Battle and today they started a multiplayer focused pre-order beta that doesn’t give players any new modes to play with, but it does give players a chance to experience aerial combat.
Eugen Systems announced the pre-order beta in a news post, but they didn’t mention that Steam has suddenly placed a release date of May 22nd for the game. It will cost $40, the same as the original game, but those who own the European Escalation can get the game for 20% off.
